Our Story – Excellence in Pool Design Since 2001
Founded over two decades ago, Sunset Pools started as a family-owned business driven by a passion for exceptional outdoor design. From the beginning, our founders, Adam and Sonia Traugott, recognized the need for comprehensive outdoor living designs, not just swimming pools, and offered full-service outdoor living solutions—one of the first in the Katy area to do so.
With Adam’s 30 years of experience as a second-generation builder and Sonia’s expertise in aesthetics and customer relations, they quickly propelled Sunset Pools to prominence. Their visionary approach has earned numerous industry awards and the trust of hundreds in Houston. Today, we remain committed to quality, innovation, and client satisfaction, ensuring every project reflects our dedication to excellence in creating complete outdoor living spaces.
