Each client has a dedicated Project Manager, supported by our in-office scheduling team, while your design consultant remains available throughout the process.
The average Sunset Pools project takes about 12 weeks from excavation to completion, depending on design complexity and inspection schedules.
No. We offer complimentary design consultations that include 3-D concepts, material previews, and transparent pricing, held in our Katy Design Studio.
Each proposal outlines clear line items for your specific project. Engineering is included when required by site conditions but is not part of every build. Typical inclusions cover design, excavation, steel, gunite, plumbing, tile, coping, Pentair equipment, startup, and clean-up. Finishes are selected in our Design Studio, and additional features are priced separately.
Custom gunite pools typically start around $85,000–$100,000 and average $125,000–$180,000 with popular upgrades like travertine decking, tanning ledges, water features, or an attached spa. Fully integrated outdoor living projects, including kitchens, structures, and landscaping, may reach $250,000 or more. Every proposal is fully itemized and transparent.
Yes. We’re a turnkey outdoor-living builder specializing in patios, pergolas, kitchens, fireplaces, cabanas, and shade structures. Designing the pool and outdoor space together creates a cohesive, functional layout.
Absolutely. Clients visit our 4,500-sq-ft Design Studio to explore PebbleTec, Keystone Tile, Arizona Tile, Crossville Studios, Apex Stone, Ledge Lounger, and Tupelo Outdoor products. Sonia Traugott curates and updates all materials to ensure the newest and best options.
Every Sunset Pools project begins with a blank canvas. We design to your home’s architecture, your family’s lifestyle, and your yard’s layout—no templates or pre-set models.
We do not provide cleaning in-house but can recommend reliable local pool service companies that meet our quality standards.

Manufacturer warranties apply for Pentair equipment
PebbleTec finishes often last 15–20 years with regular brushing and proper water balance.
Permitting typically takes around four weeks, but timelines vary depending on each municipality. We track applications closely and update you regularly.
Yes. Our office team handles every step of the HOA approval process, including scaled drawings, drainage layouts, and material details.
Not all—it depends on your city or county. Sunset Pools verifies requirements for your address and manages all necessary permits, inspections, and HOA documentation for you.
